I succumbed. Broken down. Beaten.

I just joined Twitter. And I have no freaking clue what I’m doing nor why anyone would want to know that I have no idea what I’m doing. But there it is, my quest for promotional opportunities running rampart.

So help a person out here, any advice for a twitter newbie?

    Lots of people I follow use it to share links they like or just general status updates. Kinda stupid, but oddly addictive.

    I fully admit to being officially old on this one because I have no desire to even understand what Twitter is and what purpose it serves! But, good luck with using it! 🙂

    I’m on Twitter but I don’t use it much. I do check out my Twittascope every day, though. lol And I somehow have my Twitter hooked up to Facebook (though I don’t remember how I did it; you can google and find out probably). When I put a message up on Twitter, it automatically shows on Facebook. Oh, and if you want to put a link about a guest blogger, use tinyurl.com to get link smaller.

    I’ll look you up when I get a chance!

    Yeah, I honestly didn’t think I’d ever join, but figured it might be good for promo. But in protest, all my statements will make sense only to me. lol. The odder the better, imo 😉

    Hey Lori, Stick with Twitter – you’ll pick it up as you go along. Use it as a personal journal, record thoughts and events maybe accompanied with the odd photo… funny to read back over your own tweets. Follow people that interest you for whatever reason… you get out what you put in…
    Keep it real Lori! (BTW – If you check out my Tweets you see that I am NO expert!!!)

    Hehehe….I get email invites for twitter ever so often, but as of yet I havent taken the plunge. Honestly…I think I just need to limit myself to what all I’m keeping up with. You should link your feed to your blog though so we can all keep up with you!~ 🙂
