On a personal note, no word on the house we’re trying to buy. We’re hoping to hear this week. I still don’t understand why the banks are so slow, but that’s a rant I’ll leave in the past.
The Brighton family is getting over a horrible cold, we have less than two weeks to pack up our current home and move out and I’m still working on my second book for Kensington! Ahhh! Stress!
To top it off, I’m seriously thinking of switching where I blog since Blog Spot seems to be rather troublesome for some people to understand.
For now, I’ll stay put.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks to Delilah for sharing her wonderful story!!! Remember, Delilah’s second book, Lord of Pleasure, is out in August. A perfect read for summer!
Congratulations to the winners! And I hope your sale goes through soon. Someone should tell Obama’s people that the bank doesn’t seem to want money.
Thanks Edie! I hope it goes through soon too! They said we’d hear something this week. But then they said we’d hear something last week. so who knows.
Congratulations, everyone!
Lori, I hope you hear real soon. It’s crazy how long it’s taking.
Renee
Wow! Thanks! I can’t wait to read the book…it look really good.
~Harris.
I’m thinking Lord of Pleasure looks really, really good, and i’m not just talking about the blurb!
Kesington does have wonderful covers! lol
Oy packing up and moving in two weeks, PLUS writing, you have my pity. ((Hugs))
It took my friends forever to close on their house as well. They were like- helloooo! we have the money!!. Good luck with everything and I hope you send me some of your 2nd book when you have a chance! I’m bummed I didn’t win- Mistress of Pleasure sounds like a great book. I added it to my list. (I’m jacked up on cold meds and couldn’t remember if their is ‘ie’ or ‘ei’. Alas…)
Well, the bank has gotten some paper they needed and apparently they have 19 days from now to decide. ugh!!!!
and if you didn’t win Delilah’s book, the good thing about Kensington is that their books are very affordable!
Also, i have a lot of authors coming up who are going to give away books! So come back!
