It’s Friday, do you have any plans for the weekend?
This week has been rather up and down on the emotional scale, hasn’t it? But let’s focus on the positive, yep, glass half full here…at least for today!
Who watched the news and saw the return of Laura Ling and Euna Lee? I’m sure I wasn’t the only one teary-eyed. I’m so glad they’re back and safe!
Feel like a little love? Here’s a story about a girl who became pen pals with a solider. It’s definitely worth the read and is a romance novel in the making!
I had to share this story about a school bus driver who uses his own money to make meals for those in need. Truly inspiring!
This week has been my lucky week! I won a book from Magical Musings, Elisabeth Naughton‘s newest Stolen Heat. The book is great! And because I’m enjoying it so, I’ve decided to pay it forward and give away a copy.

Lori, you are so sweet to pay it forward. I loved watching the two journalists come back. I was happy for them and for their families. And really proud of former President Clinton.
I’m hoping for a bit of rain this weekend. You know it’s dry when the weeds are wilting!
I was also pleased to see former President Clinton bring the journalists home. Everyone needs a lift these days.
