It’s official, I’ve decided to self publish The Ghost Hunter on Amazon and SmashWords, and hopefully the ebook will be up by next week. I’ve already searched Istock and found my cover pics. Cousin Aaron will be hard at work this weekend making that cover for me and I’ll share it with you next week! As I mentioned before, The Ghost Hunter is a contemporary paranormal romance.
I know a lot of you don’t read ebooks, which is okay. But please, please, please if you know anyone who does read paranormal ebooks, send them my link. The one bad thing about self publishing (besides not having the book in print format) is that my failure or success is based totally on me. No blaming a bad agent or editor. But if it does very well, there is the chance of getting the book in print. We’ll see. Fingers crossed! I’m very excited, at the same time very nervous!
Want a blurb? Here it is!
When Ashley Hunter inherits a pub in England , the very place where her father disappeared years ago, she jumps at the chance to uncover the truth, not only about her father, but her own past. Like her father, Ashley grew up with the ability to see ghosts. But when she arrives at the pub, Ashley realizes she inherited not only answers, but spirits, demons and fallen angels who test her patience. Then Cristian arrives, a sinfully attractive man who insists he merely needs a room to rent. But when her ghosts start disappearing one by one, Ashley’s suspicion toward Cristian grows.
As a fallen angel destined for a life of servitude, Cristian Lucius has one goal, protect earth from unwanted spirits and reclaim his rightful place in the Heavens. As much as it irks him, Cristian can’t accomplish his mission alone. He’ll need help from the very woman who frustrates him as much as she intrigues him. But Cristian is determined to ignore his intense attraction for Ashley, and focus on his mission for if they don’t work together, they won’t have a chance in hell of defeating the demon threatening their lives. The problem is getting Ashley to not only believe in her abilities, but trust the very man who was responsible for her father’s disappearance.
When I wrote The Ghost Hunter, I totally imagined Gerard Butler as Cristian 🙂
Tomorrow Edie Ramer will be here giving away two ecopies of her super fun romance, Cattitude.
One more bit of good news…. Author Zoe Winters (interviewed awhile back) is giving away a Kindle! If you’ve been curious about them, but don’t want to spend the money, its the perfect opportunity to try and win one. Click here for more details!
